Think of a three-legged stool - such a simple design, a seat and three legs. Each leg is necessary and has to be of equal size and strength as the others if the stool is going to accomplish its purpose. Newport First Baptist is just like this stool - we need three strong legs to hold us up.

Our missions statement can be boiled down to three simple "legs".

First - Loving God through worship.

He is the reason we exist.

Second - Loving Each Other by being a community.

Unconditional love for one another is a non-negotiable.

Third - Loving Our World through reaching out.

God's whole purpose for coming to the earth was to "seek and save the lost." He has given us this job too.

We did not come up with these ideas on our own. They come directly from God's Word, The Bible.
